Chapter 41 - Monthsary

It didn't sit well on Tyler that she had avoided his touch as if he was carrying deadly virus.

With a dark countenance he eyed her. "Go and freshen up, we are going out for dinner."

Jade wasn't able to stop her eyebrow cocking up and asked, "What's the occasion?"

"Do we need an occasion to dine outside?" Tyler sneered, answering her question with a question.

Jade shrugged her shoulders and turned to go upstairs.

While she was trudging to their bedroom, Jade tried hard to find the reason why he was taking her out for dinner.

It wasn't her birthday and neither he, Tyler had just celebrated his birthday weeks ago.

She gave up when she couldn't find a plausible reason.

Tyler rubbed the spot between his eyebrows as he watched his wife having no idea what the occasion was.

They have been married for a month today and he had come home to take her out for dinner.
