The Revelation I

I discover that Xander had brought me to my room when I looked around the area. It is cold, so I pull his coat closer to my shoulder. I change how I'm sitting so I can view the book he gave me. It has a basic brown cover that is unattractive to anyone's eyes on the exterior.

Opening the book reveals, however, that there are lines, illustrations, and even written words that I am unable to decipher.

Possibly because they are so old, several of these handwritten documents appear to have been written with care. The paper's tidy yet worn appearance serves as evidence that the book's previous owner may have passed away. Still…-UGH!

I feel pain in my head. It resembles splitting in half. There are certainly flashes of recollections that I have never before encountered, so I can't tell what is real or not. My head is still hurting. Even though my hands are trembling, I can hold onto my bed's covers until I am sitting on the edge of it.
