Chapter 71: Chloe Returns to the Scene of the Crime
"Hello." The guard said when they approached. Liam flashed his badge at him.
"Detective Johnson. I'm taking the witness Mrs. Harris here up to look over the scene and maybe help jog her memory of the events." Liam told the security officer who just nodded at him and went back to being bored.
Chloe shuddered as they entered the office and noticed the window had not been replaced yet. Standing at the far end of the office she darted her eyes around the room not being much help.
"So they were here?" Liam asked, pointing to the desk.
"Yes. He had Heather bent over the desk there, and I was, here." She said moving slightly at the door to the office. "He saw me when he reached across to the other side of the desk."

When Chloe woke up the next morning Liam was gone, and so were the handcuffs.
