Chapter 59

SEBASTIAN'S POV.

Three days had passed since I last saw Hailee. I had been too occupied with the Alpha meeting and other pack affairs to notice her absence. It wasn't until I demanded for her presence that I was informed that no one had seen her in the past three days. Panic seized me as I realized that I didn't know where she was or if she was okay.

I left the Alpha meeting with a worried heart, my mind racing with all kinds of horrible scenarios. Did she escape? Was she kidnapped? Did someone hurt her? As I reached her room, I noticed that it was locked from the inside. My worry intensified as I broke the lock and found her shaking in a corner.

Hailee looked completely broken beyond repair. She was pale, her eyes sunken and lifeless. My heart sank as I realized that I was the reason for her pain. I had locked her up, tortured her, and broken her spirit. I felt utterly awful for what I had done to her.
