Chapter 63

DOLPH'S POV.

I woke up early in the morning, as I always do, to start my day in the rogue pack. As I walked around my room, my eyes caught something that made my blood boil with anger. It was a picture of Sebastian and Hailee, taken while they were sleeping and one of my men had brought it to me a day or two ago which was given to him by a spy. They looked so peaceful, so content in each other's arms. And that's when the jealousy began to eat away at me.

Hailee and I were supposed to be together. We had an unspoken understanding, a bond that I thought was unbreakable. But now, seeing her with Sebastian, I couldn't help but feel like she had betrayed me. The anger and jealousy within me were overpowering, and I couldn't shake them off.

I looked at the picture again, studying their faces. I tried to imagine what they must have been feeling when the picture was taken. Did they know I would see it and feel so angry? Or were they just lost in their own world, oblivious to my existence?
