HAILEE's POV

As I stood before Dolph, my anger bubbling inside me like a raging inferno, I knew that I had to set things straight. I could not allow him to continue believing that I had betrayed him, that I had somehow sided with the enemy.

So I looked him straight in the eye, my voice cold and measured. "You are a fool, Dolph. A complete and utter fool. How could you even consider the possibility that I would betray our pack, our family? How could you be so blind?"

Dolph flinched at my words, his face contorting with anger and frustration. But I did not back down. I stood there, my gaze locked with his, refusing to be intimidated by his fury.

"It was all a lie," I continued, my voice growing stronger. "A fabrication designed to sow discord and confusion among our people. And you fell for it, hook, line, and sinker."

Dolph opened his mouth to protest, but I cut him off with a sharp gesture. "Enough. You will be put in the cells, Dolph. Until you can prove your loyalty to our pack,
