SEBASTIAN.

I could feel the heat rising to my cheeks as Hailee opened her eyes and realized she was in my arms. She looked confused and in pain, which only added to my guilt. I wanted to move away, to give her some space, but at the same time, I didn't want to let go. I didn't want to face the fact that I had almost lost her.

As she tried to move, I could feel her wincing in pain, and I quickly realized that she must have been hurt badly. I knew I had to let her go, but at the same time, I didn't want to. We both seemed to be caught in this awkward moment, not knowing what to say or do.

Finally, I mustered the courage to move away from her, and she followed suit. We both got up and avoided each other's gaze, not knowing how to break the silence that hung heavily in the air. I could feel the tension between us, and it made me uncomfortable.
