Cisca sighed in relief at the announcement. The crowd parted, and the king merely raised his brows.
The guard suspended his hand in the air, as Alden walked to the podium.
Cisca turned to look at him. He refused to look at her.
" She must be so great for you to want to risk your life," Stiles remarked snidely, as Alden marched forward in between the crowd.
He ignored the taunt, as he walked on. His eyes were hard. He looked very furious at that moment.
The pack was very surprised at his heroic show.
" This is the price you pay for frolicking with the help." The King said.
They were not discreet enough, and this would serve as a warning.
Alden marched to the front, and removed his cloth, kneeling shortly after.
"We begin at the count of three."
