Meeting

At the cock crow, Nicky arose. She couldn't sleep the previous night.

Her heart was filled with so much worry, that she prepared to see Hamon.

First, she had to see the king in his chamber.

She had to tell him what was going on.

She donned her best attire, and made haste to catch him before he left for meeting.

She heard that he had a meeting with the council members today.

She met the guards at the door and they requested permission to enter.

She was granted.

The king was quite surprised to hear Nicky was looking for him that early.

He decided to grant her audience.

She entered the room and the king stared at her.l

"Good morning, your highness." She greeted him.

" Morning, Nicky." He replied.

Her countenance was gloomy. Something was bothering her.

There wasn't a time that she was this dampened.

He waited for her to start the conversation.

"I heard a disheartening news last night." She started.

The king still stared at her impassively.

"Someone tried to kill Martin." She announced
