For now, we try as much as possible to stay alive.” Nick yelled back amidst the sound of bullets hitting different spots in the living room.

“You won’t last long just laying there Nick, you’re going to get hit for sure, and these guys doesn’t seem to be stopping soon,” Simon was talking on top of his voice so Nick would be able to hear him. He had been in a similar situation when he was serving in the army, a machine gun tends to shoot for close to five minutes, depending on the size of the weapon.

The fact that the bullets were tearing apart the house confirmed that it was a large machine gun and might be going for more than five minutes. He had to do something before any of them got hit again.

Why would someone want him dead so badly, Simon couldn’t bring him
