THE UNKNOWN MAN

“I’m sorry, i got lost in thoughts,” Simon said, forcing an awkward smile as he went out of the way for the well dressed man to pass through.

The man scoffed, adjusted his blazers and walked in, followed by his guards. The two bouncers that stood in front of the club entrance looked at each other, grinning.

Simon saw them, he felt suspicious; maybe the man wasn’t just a customer after all, his thinking might just be right. Simon thought. Well he wasn’t here to meet the owner of a club or a random rich guy, he wanted to forget the sorrows he had deep down, at least for a moment.

He walked inside the bar, stealing glances at the bouncers who weren’t even looking at him.

The well dressed man he had met outside was sitting on a stool facing the counter, the club was bubbling as the music blasted from different speakers placed at strategic places. The dance floor was filled with people, however; the bar was a little scanty.
