Asthma Crisis

When the receptionist said those words to me, I shot her a smile, and then I turned around and walked back to the elevator. This must be some kind of joke. Charles probably planned this to keep me on my toes. I couldn't even get angry because he was my boss, and I had to obey his every request.

In anger, I returned back to the room to see that it was empty. I sat on the bed for a while contemplating on what to do when Charles walked out of the bathroom with only a towel hung on his waist.

"What are you doing here?" He asked, looking at me with his hands on his waist.

At this point I didn't know if to believe that he had no clue that this was going to happen. I sighed deeply, and then I said to him,

"The rooms are fully booked until next week,"

He gave off a shrug, and walked towards the closet.

"Make yourself comfortable then. It's only for a week," he said, and then I cursed silently at him.

Why does everyone say that? A week could change a lot. I mean people die everyday, an
