Charles gets hospitalized

The next day when I pulled my eyes open, I saw Charles standing with a towel wrapped around his waist. He was about to enter the bath when he turned around and saw that I was awake.

"I have a meeting to attend, and you can come with me if you like," he said casually before getting into the bathroom.

I didn't want to attend any meeting but it would be nice to get into the bathroom with him. My thoughts were going wild on me, and I hated it but I couldn't control it.

Taking out my phone, I checked for messages, and I saw that I had one from both Mia and Royal.

Mia kept me updated on the recent happenings in the company, and Royal was checking if I were still alive after the first night. Good thing I was, but I wonder for how long.
