"He's close to this place," Jason repeated because I said nothing the first time.

He probably thought I didn't hear him.

Cameron almost died. Cameron sent the anonymous tip. Cameron heard our conversation then.

"How does he know this place?" I asked confused, my eyes darting around because I felt like Zachary would appear out of any of the walls.

Jason sighed, his hand moved to the back of his neck. A sure sign of nervousness.

"Mom knows about this place. I couldn't believe mom was the female helping him, I mean, I can't even understand it. She probably sent that tip to the police or whatever," Jason said, he was trying to appear strong but his eyes gave how tired and heartbroken he was, "I don't understand why she would do this to me."
