Ryan's POV

I tried to apologize to her, but I don't know what happened to me that made me forget what I was saying.

But amidst this gathering, the mixture of scents and baking, I can only focus on her.

Her scent. Her eyes. Her nose. Her rosy lips.

And I kissed her, with my lips. That's wrong, but it still feels right.

Sally's POV

A few weeks have passed since the barbecue. I honestly have to admit that I don't remember half the things that happened at the gathering because the only thing I remember is Darius and I arriving at the location, meeting Allen, fighting Ryan, bumping into Athena, and it's done.

I don't even remember that I left Darius at the barbecue. I'm not sure who drove him home, but he returned just in time before my grandparents returned from France.

I think I may have partial amnesia because God knows what happened to me on the way home or whether the amnesia happened in my own house. I'm really confused.
