One hundred and thirty five

Third person POV

After the ceremony ended, they returned home and gathered in the dining room, as this was the largest room in the house. Everyone is acting like this is the end of the world. They thought the throne was still unoccupied, so they wanted to poke their claws into it.

Sally sat on the front seat, where her grandfather once conquered. Eventually, she got fed up with these people talking as if she wasn't even in the room.

"Silent." Her voice echoed throughout the room filled with warning.

Everyone sat still, shock evident on their faces. To be honest, Sally was the same, she could hear the authority her voice gave off.

“Grandpa assigned me to be the leader of the Donne family, now you are all under my care. The leader was my replacement to cope and prepare myself after my grandfather passed away. You all know that. There are no valid arguments to change anything. The old man gave me the throne for a reason, but I still haven't found the reason.”
