Chapter eighteen

My relationship with Matthew still was in a state of sometimes hot and sometimes cold. Sometimes he was extremely considerate and caring for me but sometimes he was cold to me.

The new school year was coming, so I needed to prepare well for studying and didn’t have time to care about our relationship.

Matthew's leg recovered very well, he began to be able to walk a small distance on crutches. His legs were better but his personality became worse. There were times when he said things and acted differently than before, and I didn't understand why.

The news that Matthew's leg was getting better quickly reached the Browns family, Mr. and Mrs. Brown was overjoyed. Mrs. Brown often told me and Matthew to visit them and Matthew often refused.

Mr. and Mrs. Brown was so used to Matthew's characteris that once he didn't want to do something, no one could force him, so they didn't have much hope. Because Matthew refused to visit them, Mrs. Brown stopped talking to him but looked for me. She call
