Chapter one hundred and five

After the phone call with Rebecca ended, I immediately called Matthew. I wanted to thank him for helping me a lot. Since I married him, he had helped me solve many problems. He had also given me warmth that I did not have before. I was really grateful to God for letting me meet him because if I didn't meet him, I would still be a poor girl who was bullied by others and suffered a lot of injustice.

The curtains were drawn to the sides, and sunlight flooded the room.
