Chapter one hundred thirty-three

I didn't ask Matthew about his decision to leave from the Brown Corporation. No matter what decision he made, I would always support him. All I knew was that Matthew still had to work overtime a lot. Maybe he wanted to deal with all the things he could handle right now so that he could spend more time with me when I gave birth to our child.

Time passed neither too fast nor too slow. The Browns were not as close to me as they used to be, but they still cared a lot about me and my unborn baby, especially when my belly was growing.
