Suspicious.

(It was 12:38 pm in the afternoon)

At the dining room, Deborah, the kids, Jake and Mateo were all sitting down in their various seats and eating the food the chefs prepared for them.

During the lunch eating minutes, at some point Jake's eyes would stare at Mateo when Mateo wasn't looking back at him. Jake would occasionally shake his head pitifully at Mateo before he would focus back on eating.

Jake was feeling sorry for Mateo since he was sure that Alexander would definitely have a punishment stored for him.

"I'd take the kids to school tomorrow".

Mateo's words were so sudden to Jake that he even coughed, choking himself with food.

Now Mateo was suspicious of Jake. He was aware of the fact that Jake had been staring at him secretly, but he chose not to say anything.

"Easy there. Have some water". Deborah said to Jake who obeyed.

Jake poured for himself water in the glass cup next to his plate. He drank it quickly and completely avoided his choking from continuing.
