"You're so fortunate. Grantt genuinely loves you, even without any effort on your part. Despite your attempts to push him away, he still loves you deeply. I pray every second that I could be in your shoes. If that were the case, I would never hurt Grantt like that."

We both glanced at Grantt, our eyes meeting. Perhaps he had been observing me for a while.

"I just hope to see you deserving of Grantt's love, but no. You're just hurting him," I heard the woman mutter.

"You don't know our story..."

"What if I do? Shouldn't Greel Gomez be the one you marry, not Grantt?"

My attention shifted to the woman. "How did you find out?"

"Just someone told me," she replied, avoiding eye contact with me and fixing her gaze on Grantt.

She stood up, and Kenth did the same. It seemed like they were planning another showdown right in front of me.

"I'll take you home, Yong," they both said simultaneously.

"I'll be the one to take her. You can handle Wendy," Kenth retorted, clearly not willing to back down
