That morning, the guards had declared the palace safe enough for anyone to have breakfast at the dining room. While Lillith would have loved to dine in her room, away from the eyes of Leon's wife air Delilah, she had been urged to join them by Cali.

"You know, staying here and having breakfast instead of joining at the dining room would make you look like you're nervous or scared of her,"

Lillith laughed. "I am not nervous. She just makes me feel uneasy,"

"And that's because Leon is married to her. Anyone would feel uneasy if their husband was married to someone else,"

But that was not the case. There was something else about this woman that made her feel uneasy and it wasn't only because Leon was married to her. Well, she shrugged it off. It wasn't something she had to bother herself over. But the uneasiness still remained in her stomach.

"Well, she is not to be blamed," Lillith shrugged as she slipped her feet into her flats. "I was the one who left. Twice."
