The war raged on and Lucian was starting to become uncomfortable about the whole thing. It did not make sense that they were fighting over a woman. A mere woman who didn't mean so much!

But he couldn't say those words to the hearing of Leon. Not if he wanted to be torn apart. He kept his opinion to himself and stood beside his Alpha as he watched the war from the turrets.

A scout had come to report earlier on that White Plateau wasn't giving up. It was crazy because Leon had asked his men to stop being offensive. It was enough sign for Lucien to know that he did not want a war. But he didn't seem to want to give up yet.
