Melissa woke up extremely angry. None of her plans had worked at all. One of the maids had taken the fall which wasn't what she wanted.

Last night, Leok had passed by her like he didn't see her. He had been hurrying towards Lillith's room. That alone made her so angry and she wished she could find another way to end Lilith's life so he could forget about the filthy woman and fall in love with her instead.

At the dinner table last night, she had eaten her dinner with Delilah who kept giving her looks of suspicion. Melissa suspected that Delilah knew something about her. But that didn't deter her from poisoning Lillith's food which had gone awry.

She walked to the window and stared down at the garden below as her mind ran Mach five. If she wanted Lillith dead before the coronation, she had to be fast about it. She had to pay someone to do the dirty job for her.

She was going to end this once and for all. She hadn't come here only to be treated like she was invisible.
