At the dinner table, Lillith and Lucien kept exchanging glances. They were the only ones seated at the table and Lilith felt like she needed to know his family as she had seen none of them.

"Uhm, you haven't really told me about your family?" She began with a smile. "I mean, I have not seen a sibling or parent or the sort,"

Lucien gently placed his fork on the table and wiped his mouth with the silk napkin by his side. He smiled at her. "Well, my family? Beer adventurous. As soon as I became Alpha, my parents decided to travel the world on their big boat,"

Lillith laughed. "Really adventurous. Isn't that dangerous? I mean, going out at sea and sailing for long periods,"

Lucien chuckled and forked a chunk of grilled meat into his mouth. "Well, it is dangerous and those two love a bit of danger and chaos. So you're right. But I am sure they'd survive. They have their ways,"

Lillith nodded. "Quite an interesting bunch, I guess?"
