Leon was having dinner with Delilah when they heard commotion outside.

Leon turned to Delilah who smiled and threw a chunk of red meat into her mouth. "It is done."

The relief that washed over Leon as he stood to his feet was beautiful. He laughed. "Thank you, mother."

Her eyes watered. This was the first time Leon had addressed her as mother since his teen years. She had wished for that little boy who sought her protection at all times to return.

After she had brought him here as the Heir to the throne of Red Lily Pack and after he had discovered his real parents, he had stopped addressing her as mother. Instead, he stuck with her name.
