Chapter 30: Unconditional

“Ethan…” I attempted to call his name when we dropped at his house. Rather than confronting me, he turned away and was about to leave when I ran up to him and embraced him from behind. He stiffened when our flesh had contact. I buried my face behind his back, and my tears were swelling up. My arms tightened around his rigid torso as my breathing hitched.

“E-Ethan, are you going to leave me again?” I sniffed when my nose clogged.

Now that he’s calm down, I needed to go against him. I have many questions that have needed a few answers. Why is he gone for that long? For what reason he’s massive killing again?
