“Pack up.”

I nearly jumped in my spot when he bashed his hands against the table. The bowl with milk and cereal spilled all over, making me close my eyes for a minute since a bit of milk sprinkled on my face. I moved my jaw and glared at him, which made him back away a little, whereas his hands were raised a little, indicating he was surrendering. I rolled my eyes at him, then took a napkin, cleaning my face and chest.

“Ethan, what did I tell you about being violent?” I told him, like a mother chastening his child. I heard him let out a sigh at that point, cursed a little, which made me look at him in the eyes again. He harshly bit his lower lip, irritated, then sat before me.
