Nolan's POV

I kept on running, though my legs were killing me. I couldn't stop running. Adrenaline pumped through me as I focused.

I sustained injuries from the blades of the grass. But I continued running. If Anita catches me, I will be minced meat. There is no way of escape anymore. I ran until I passed out.

A drum of water dumped on my head caused me to jolt upright.

When I opened my eyes, I saw myself in unfamiliar territory.

"Who are you?" A fierce guard asked me. I was scared. Had Anita's minions gotten a hold of me?

"My name is Nolan." I didn't add that I came from the Blood Moon pack. Who knows if they knew Anita or have been looking for ways to trap her?

"I was kidnapped by some bandits." I added.

"This man looks familiar." Another guard said, trying to place my face.

I hoped that it was a good recognition.

"What pack are you from?" He inquired, and I stalled.
