“Mama!” Lilian was shocked to find her mother outside the door. She thought that she wouldn’t be able to see her again because of Daniella. She hugged her mother tightly because she missed her so much. “I thought you are not coming!”

“I miss you, Lil.” Paloma was teary-eyed after hugging her daughter whom she missed every day. Gregory had wanted her to bring Lilian to the big house and live with them but she objected to it because she needed to focus on Daniella. She had become a bad mother to Lilian, and to Daniella, she was also bad. She’s a total failure as a mother. When Marcus showed up, she took it as a sign that she needed to let go of Daniella and focused on her daughter instead. She wished that she hasn’t wasted her twenty years with Daniella.

“I miss you so much, Ma. So, are you staying here for good?” Lilian was excited at the thought that her mother would finally live with her.

“Actually, no,” Paloma answered.
