Daniella didn’t believe when Marcus told him that he had no relationship with Alicia. No woman in her right mind would just kiss anyone she met for the first time, and she was not blind at all! Paloma and Philip rushed to the district hospital where Lilian was taken, and while on the way, they were anxious and uneasy. “Let me drive the car for you,” Philip offered as he noticed that her hands were shaking and she was nervous behind the wheel. “No, I can manage. Anyway, the hospital is just nearby.” Paloma refused his offer and glared at the man for inadvertently causing a misunderstanding about Lilian and Alexander’s parentage. “If you were not stupid to just sit there and corrected me, things like these would never happen.” Paloma started to blame Philip for Lilian’s attempted suicide. Gerald waited until they reached home before he confronted Alicia about the kiss. He was too furious and humiliated at the same time when Alicia caused the scene at Daniella’s house. After their fight, Marcus took Daniella towards the greenhouse, a special place to calm down her raging desire to scratch his eyes. “Can you trust me to deal with Alicia?” He asked before they sat down on a bench that was customized to be placed near her workstation for flower arrangement. “To be honest, I’m not sure if I can trust you with it. Maybe you should just let me handle your affair,” she offered. Just the thought of Daniella confronting or challenging Alicia made him shiver. “Or maybe we should set a date for our wedding to stop Alicia from taking me away from you,” he counteroffered. “Do you think that a wedding ceremony can stop her? If I am in her shoes, no ceremony can stop me from claiming what belongs to me, and in one or another, she and I are so alike!” She responded. Her response didn’t make him happy. Daniella ran towards Lilian’s room and she was surprised to see Philip Madrigal and Edwin Sanchez together with Paloma in the lobby. “Good evening everyone,” she greeted them. “Ella! I’m glad that you’re here! Can you talk with Lilian? The brat refused to see us!” Paloma expressed her frustrations that Lilian didn’t give her the chance to correct her mistake. Her daughter wouldn’t even let her speak even a single word! Daniella nodded and proceed inside. “Lil? Are you awake?” She asked as soon as she closed the door behind her but Lilian didn’t respond right away. She waited patiently until she stirred from her bed and opened her eyes. “Ella…,” she whispered her sister’s name before Lilian let her tears flow freely. It had been days already since she was discharged from the hospital but Lilian continued to be distant from her parents.
