Angel

I was alone in my fancy study, deeply considering various topics. They really got to me over the past few days, which were intense. Selena's devotion to Heaven was unlike any other. She was so brave and determined that she put everything at risk to ensure our girl's safety. Her presence amazed me.

I was filled with memories as I sat there. I thought back to Selena's ferocious determination to fight so hard to save Heaven. She clearly cared a lot about our daughter. She would overcome any obstacle with her love, and nothing could stop her.

I couldn't believe I hadn't noticed Selena's strong emotions earlier. I was too preoccupied with my own problems and obligations. She made me feel so grateful.

But then I started to think about my stepbrother, Lucian. While trying to save Heaven, Selena hurt him. He got away, but I knew he wouldn't take it lightly. Lucian was well-informed and vengeful. Without a doubt, he would return for retribution.

I was unable to shake this awful feeling.
