She's My Mate, I don't Like Her

I sat in my library, going through some books, since it was my leisure time. I had a lot of things going through my thoughts, and the only way to free myself from such thoughts is when I keep myself busy reading a book.

I had been in the library for more than five hours now and my back was beginning to hurt.

I peered down at my wristwatch, and it was 9pm already. I stretched my long legs which I had folded for hours now. Maybe going for a run will do justice to my aching legs.

I quickly folded the page, which I stopped, closed the book and put it back where it should be. This way, I wouldn't be confused about where I left off.

Going back to the room was something I had been trying to avoid seriously. In as much as Layla is my mate, I just cannot bear the stench. Yes, I said stench, that is what I perceive rather than the scent of a mate who his supposed to lure me to her.
