EXCITED

EVANORA'S POV

Blade and I spent every second wrapped in each other's embrace.

"Um, Blade," I said after having light conversations occasionally. "What are we going to do next?"

"Next?"

"After this," I sat up. "You know what I am and you know what you are. What are we going to do? How are we going to get through this?"

"About that," he pulled me closer back to our embrace. "I don't know yet."

"Blade-"

"But I know one thing," he cut me off to continue. "No one's ever going to be able to come in between us. No matter what, I'm going to fight for us."

My insides leaped for joy and I smiled, pressing my head harder against his chest.

"Let's not rush things, though," he placed a kiss on my head and then said. "We'll figure out a way slowly."

I nodded and hugged him, oddly feeling relieved at his words. Words couldn't explain how excited I was. For him. For that moment and everything in general.
