BLADE’S POV

Under normal circumstances, I wasn’t supposed to be heading to the woods with the hope of seeing Evanora after what happened the last time but given how far from normal our circumstances were, I couldn’t help but go again.

I left the pack immediately after dinner. My mother might have noticed me leaving but after our last encounter of me banning her from my house, she knew better than to voice out her very useless opinions about me or my actions.

Carefully and quietly, I headed toward our spot. Though my actions seemed to be proving otherwise, I still needed to be safe. I couldn’t afford to get into the hands of the guards that were most likely still going to be circling the area. Not like that. Not when I’d finally found a way out for me and my mate, Evanora.
