"Are you sure you'll be okay by yourself? I can come with you if you want." Bruce said, stroking his mate's hair. She was tense, he could see it. She hadn't been able to sit down since she mind linked Keisha, asking her to come over and take her to the witch, Athena.

She had made up her mind to begin the training. She wasn't quite sure if she really was who they said she was, because her whole life had been a series of heartaches and let down. She was the weakest Omega anyone had seen and now, in the blink of an eye, she was supposed to be the strongest creature to ever exist, besides the moon goddess and gods of course.

"I'll be fine." Ivy replied after taking a deep breath. "If everything she says is true, then the barrier really cannot hold any longer. If the spell is broken and I get my powers back and am able to unlock the secrets of the book, Anika might get the better of me because I'm not ready or trained enough. I have to put aside my fears and train hard for this.
