Book 2: Chapter 35-Ghost

“Is my wife awake yet?” Adrian asked the assistant after leaving the room.

“She hasn’t left the room yet, señorito. But, Ms. Jessica came with her mother.”

Adrian nodded, he rushed to his wife’s room and knocked on it. He knocked a few times, but no one answered, so he dared to open the door. “Shine?”

Adrian suddenly got nervous when, after opening the door, his wife was not there. He immediately ransacked the room, even the bathroom, but he couldn’t find Sunshine around. He quickly left the room to look for his wife.

“Is Sunshine whom you’re looking for?”

“She was in my room, and she moved a while ago. Maybe she had a bad dream again, and was afraid to be alone,” Beth explained to the young man.
