Book 4: Chapter 10-Guilty

Travis quickly closed his eyes when there was a knock on the door. Cyrus was still there and his wife turned away.

“Dad, how is the chairman?” Cyril asked his father worriedly after entering the chairman’s room. Earlier, while on the way, his staff called and said that Trisha was very angry.

“He has been given a sedative. You probably know what happened at work with your staff?” with a sermon in his tone, Cyrus asked Cyril.

Cyril sighed and gently nodded to his father. He looked at Trisha’s mother. She kept her back, and he knew she was crying silently. He slowly stepped closer to her and lightly placed his palm on her shoulder.

“She really doesn’t want to come back here, and she’s angry with her father.” Shaina snorted and wiped the tears from her eyes.

She was really sad and cried because Trisha was mad at her father. She heard the conversation between her husband and daughter earlier and Trisha was very disappointed with them.
