Jade shook her head when Trisha voluntarily joined Cyril’s assistant. She is showing her strength to the man but can’t stand firmly when the man uses his dominance in that way. She could not blame her friend, because even she, who did not know him, also felt that his remaining patience should not be tested.

“Thank you for taking care of her.”

Jade stared at the man in shock when he spoke. She didn’t expect him to thank her, and it was as if nothing happened between them the way he acted at the moment. She now understood Trisha why her mood was filled with anger earlier.
