Chapter 78-Blame

“You have to go back abroad.”

“No, Daddy! I won’t give up on Travis this time!” Cheska was crying stubbornly to what her father wanted to happen.

“Daughter, just listen to your daddy, it’s for you and your son’s good,” the mother begged Cheska.

Cheska stubbornly shook her head and refused to follow her parents. She got wild because her father didn’t let her go out and see Travis. She did not believe that the young man had abducted her. She also blames her father because she got involved in a case because of him. She had a different plan with Shaina then, but her father intervened.

At the old mansion, Joshua and his mother fight again. They heard that Jacob had failed.

“What if your brother finds out that you are an accomplice with Jacob?” Martha angrily asked her son.

Joshua lit a cigarette again and did not bother to hide it from his mother. He needed to calm himself down and these last few days he seemed to be getting nervous.
