Chapter 23

Arielle felt the call of nature, so she carefully got up from her bed. Her crutches were leaning against the side of her bed, so she didn't need to call anyone to help her get to the bathroom. She decided to take a shower to freshen up her whole body.

The bruises on her body and face were not as dark anymore. Her broken bones were gradually healing, but she still couldn't move quickly or with force because she still felt the pain.

The swelling in her foot had gone down, but it was still painful when she put her foot on the floor normally and she placed her weight on her feet. However, when she used the crutches, her foot didn't hurt as much, but the broken bones in her body were painful.

She had no choice but to use the crutches when getting out of bed because her foot couldn't support the weight of her whole body.

She walked carefully and slowly towards the cabinet to get her spare clothes, then placed them on the bed. She also walked slowly to the bathroom and stood under the show
