Chapter 28

Arielle's steps were heavy as she walked into her house, followed by Gun who looked very serious.

"Good evening, Ma'am Arielle. Am I going to prepare the dinner?" Emma asked her with a smile as she met her in the living room.

She was not in the mood, so she did not answer her maid's question. The maid watched her with a puzzled look as she went up the stairs.

"What happened to Ma'am Arielle? Did she and Gun have another lover's quarrel?" Laura asked Emma.

She was only halfway up the stairs when she heard what Laura asked Emma. She stopped climbing the stairs and turned to the two maids

"Gun is just my bodyguard and we will never have a relationship, the LQ you're talking about will never happen, okay?" she said to them with a serious face they both fell silent. She saw Gun standing near the two maids, also looking at her. But his face was still blank, so she didn't know what he was thinking when he heard what she said.

She gave Gun a sharp look before continuing her interrupted climb
