Chapter 43

Arielle is struggling to hold back her tears as she sees her friend applying medication to Gun's wound on his arm. She blames herself for why he got injured. Gun is lucky that he was able to dodge the knife held by the man who attacked them, but what if he hadn't? The wound is surely deep and he could even die.

"Come back in three days to have your wound cleaned again," instructs Kim, her doctor friend who is treating Gun's injury. "Remember, don't wet the wound for now, okay?" she reminds him.

"Do I still need to bandage my wound? It's not that big," Gun asks in a complaining tone.

"It's needed so bacteria don't enter your wound," Kim quickly replied. After treating and bandaging Gun's wound, her friend approached her and pulled her to a corner, where Gun couldn't hear their voices. "His wound is still far from his intestines, Arielle. He won't die from just that kind of wound."
