(Luna's pov)

slowly I regained consciousness, my eyelids fluttered open, allowing the bright light from the chandelier to seep into my vision. My mind felt foggy, and I struggled to make sense of my surroundings. My senses began to awaken one by one, and I became aware of the warmth enveloping my body.

As my vision cleared, I almost gasped audibly, my heart skipping a beat. I was being carried, cradled in someone's arms, and the realization sent a jolt of surprise through my veins. The person holding me had strong, muscular arms, and their grip was gentle yet secure. Panic momentarily took hold of me, my mind racing to understand what was happening.
