Chapter 45

(Luna's pov)

The drive to his workplace was rather too far from the hospital, thankfully the music playing killed the awkwardness, for the first time ever it was just us alone riding.

I was thinking we will never reach it till I suddenly began to recognize the road.

"Suddenly seems far today," I said

"This is a different route," he said casually getting out of the car, did he seriously intentionally follow the long route, no wonder he turned on the music.

I got down too watching as he handled his keys over before turning to look at me.

"Why are you always away from me?" he asked with a raised brow

"you move fast and I hardly keep up," I replied watching as a cover of his cheeks curled in, he stretched his hand to me pulling me close to him, he was quick with it but my heart still remains quicker and undefeated.

"That was smooth," I said masking my awareness as I heard him chuckle almost like music to my ears, I wonder if the whole of today is among the things I am supposed to forget
