Chapter 136: A Bounty on Maggi's Head  

Daniel's heart raced as he realized he was being held captive in the company building. He surveyed his surroundings, unsure of how many people were involved in this plot. Carefully, he crept to a corner and huddled there, waiting anxiously for any sign of movement.

After what felt like an eternity, he saw figures moving about in the distance. He remained still, watching and listening until the building fell silent. Feeling a sense of relief wash over him, Daniel cautiously emerged from his hiding spot and scanned the area for his car.

Spotting it, he quickly made his way over and drove away from the building. Glancing at his watch, he saw that it was already midnight. Frustration and anger boiled inside of him as he cursed under his breath at those who had held him captive.

Finally reaching home, Daniel parked the car and stepped out, his mind still reeling from the ordeal he had just endured.
