Chapter 86: de ja vu

Charlotte’s pov

“I called you tiger, but I don’t know why” I said and then turned around to look at him.

“Its just this moment felt like I was experiencing de ja vu” I said, and he smiled.

“You look beautiful every day, that could be the de ja vu” he said, and I smiled at this.

But I know what happened, that moment when he zipped me up I saw it.

I saw myself looking in the mirror with a dress on but instead of a zipper he was tying up the dress I was wearing.

I didn’t say anything, I am still very angry with him for what he said.

“See you downstairs” he said and then left the room, May walked in with a smirk on her face.

“Look at that, your face is all red” she said, and I rolled my eyes at this.

“Why are you so angry with him?” she asked, I know why I am angry.

Because I am jealous that he wouldn’t do something as intense and intimate, but he would do it with that girl.

I thought that I was the one he was waiting for all this time, then why not?

Why not do that very intimate thing with me?

“Nothing, you look amazing” I said, and she turned around showing off her dress.

The dresses that Sebastian got for us are beautiful.

May choose a white one while I chose black.

Its always the safe choice I always think.

I have never attended a masquerade.

“It has started, I will be your escort for the night my ladies” David said bowing a little.

We headed downstairs, when I reached the end of the stairs Sebastian came and held out his hand.

I put my hand in his and he smiled.

“I would like to introduce you to someone” he said and then led the way.

We stopped in front of a woman and a man, they seemed like father and daughter, but I could be wrong.

“This is Kane Watkins and his daughter Rose” he said, and I smiled and held out my hand.

Mr Kane kissed it.

“you are as lovely as your portrait, well I am glad that he finally found you. I see why you were so determined to find her; she is really beautiful” he said.

I smiled at this, “thank you very much” I said and then looked at the girl.

“You are still cursed I assume” Rose said, and I looked at her.

So, she has a thing for Sebastian doesn’t she?

But he didn’t say anything, he just let her talk to me and look at me like that.

Music started playing and Sebastian looked at me, “shall we dance my lady?” he asked me.

“I don’t know how” I said, and he shrugged leading me to the dance floor.

“I will teach you” he said, and we stopped in the middle of the dance floor.

I wont be able to dance with this large dress and heels on.

“Step on my legs, put both your legs on top of mine and just follow my lead” Sebastian said.

I did as he instructed, after that he put his hands around my waist and everything after that came naturally.

He was doing all the work, but the way people looked at us, they seemed to be in awe.

All I know is that he was spinning me around and I was just letting him take the lead.

But felt really good just being a passenger, I am so used to taking the lead that it felt so good being led.

I actually felt myself relax, I felt myself letting go knowing that someone has my back.

When the music stopped everyone clapped their hands, May came running to me with a smile.

“Wow, I didn’t know you could move like that” she said.

All I wanted to say was neither did I, but I just smiled.

I turned around and found that Sebastian was gone, he was gone for some time, and I didn’t see him for a while.

“Who are you looking for? We are all here, but you have been looking around” David said.

“She is looking for her prince charming, you have the hots for Sebastian don’t you?” Alexa asked and I shook my head.

“No, I don’t, why would I? you remember that Logan is my mate. Why would I have feelings for another man?” I asked.

I realized that the looks on their faces had changed.

They were all looking behind me.

I turned and found Sebastian standing behind me.

“Is everyone okay?” he asked, “Ohhh yes, lovely party but you didn’t tell us what we should do about your brother” May said.

“Don’t worry about that, it has been taken care of. He followed my mother as I thought he would when he saw her. They are talking now as we speak” he said.

“Please excuse me, you can now enjoy the party without any worries” he said and then walked off. I hurt him didn’t I?

He seemed really hurt by the words I said, why did he have to be there In that exact moment.

I walked out to get some fresh her, “Scarlet” a male voice said.

I turned around; a much younger version of Sebastian was standing there.

“I am guessing you are Lucas, are you here to kill me?” I asked him and he laughed.

“I wouldn’t dare, brother would kill me without even thinking twice if I did that. I am still a little pissed with him, but he is willing to let our parents go so I am getting over it” Lucas answered.

“We all thought he was crazy you know, that is why our father wanted to kill every witch in the world.

To show brother that you would never be reincarnated” he said and then sipped his champagne.

“Did you really forgive him so easily? Don’t you have any tricks up your sleeves? You met up with Sasha and Justice” I said, and he shrugged.

“Weren’t you planning to kill your brother and me?” I asked him and he laughed.

“That witch doesn’t want to kill brother, do you know what the curse you have is meant for? To hurt everyone involved if she kills brother then her curse is pointless.

He is the one who has been tormented by this curse more than anyone” he said and then sighed.

“Didn’t the witch tell you anything?” I asked him and he shook his head.

“She wanted me to help her kill you, but I have learned a few things in the last few centuries.

I cant tell you how many times I have watched you die.

And every time I saw my brother break as well, it first it was fun but as time went on I started feeling sorry for him.

We are family after all, and blood is thicker than water” he said and then left.

I didn’t sense any animosity coming from him at all.

I guess with other people it is true that time does heal all wounds.

And Sebastian’s plan to release his mother was really good as well.

I went back downstairs to the party and the rest of the night was perfect.

As people were leaving I noticed something, Sebastian leaving the party with that girl.

Rose I believe, they were heading towards his office.

Should I follow them?

Why the hell not?

“I will be back” I said and followed them when I heard yelling.

“She will die, and you will be heart broken all over again, choose me Sebastian, why don’t you love me instead” I heard her say.

“Enough Rose, enough of your drama” I heard Sebastian say.

“You two will never be together, you will never break the curse” she said.

I heard things breaking, I quickly ran there and opened the door.

Rose was handing in the air, “Sebastian I cant breath” she said her face changing colour.

“Sebastian enough, you will kill her” I said, and his head turned to me.

His eyes were red, “enough” I said, and they went back to their normal colour.

He dropped Rose who quickly got up, she pulled me out with her.

“Thank you for saving me, he would have killed me had you arrived a second later” she said, and her eyes landed on me.

“What was wrong with him?” I asked and she shrugged.

“He doesn’t want to drink blood directly from the vein, he hasn’t done that in so long. He needs to drink blood directly, but at this rate whomever he drinks from will die” she said.

“Come on, lets go and let him come down” she said but I shook my head.

“I want to talk to him” I said as I went back to his office.

He looked up, “please leave Charlotte, I want to be alone for now” he said.

“Then I will be alone with you, Rose told me about the feeding” I said as I closed the door.

I was so angry with him, turns out he hasn’t fed for so long.

But why not?

If drinking blood directly makes him stronger then why doesn’t he?

“LEAVE NOW” he said his eyes turning red again.

“Is that supposed to scare me?” I asked him and he was gone in a second.

I could hear him breathing behind me and the door locking from behind.

“Do you know what you are doing to me?

do you know the things I want to do to you?

Do you know how much pain I am in? are you mocking me and my love?” he asked.

I heard the door unlock and open, “please leave, it is true that you are someone’s mate so leave” he said.

“What If I don’t want to go?” I asked him. What am I doing? Why am I not leaving? Why am I so excited by all of this?
