"Liam….baby….come on……"

"I don’t want you to hate me."

"I don’t hate you!" I yelled.

"Liam, let’s go inside." The nanny took Liam away. I wanted to go after her but…. what right did I have. The warmth I was feeling melted away and I felt cold and alone.

Nanny put Liam down on his bed.

"Why did you take me away from mommy? I'm going back to her!" He said wiping his face but the nanny dragged Liam back and slapped the little boy. He fell to the floor crying and holding his red cheek.

"Your mommy is going to die… grandma will kill her…..so you must tell her to leave…..do you want your mommy to die?"

"No…..n….n…o." he cried.

"Then tell her to go…..if she stays by your side you shall die…..now if your dad asked who hit you…tell him it was mommy!"

"No…that’s a big fat lie!" Liam yelled.

"Do you want your mommy to die?"

"No…."

"Then do as I say okay? Trust nanny!"

"I hate you!"

I stood by the kitchen when my phone rang.
