A week passed by but there's no news on Evangeline or her possible pregnancy. I kept bugging Brandon to find more through his connections but every time he cut me by saying that he could never cross the bridge of trust he built with his sister aka Evangeline. Meanwhile, my frustration had been growing with passing days. Like I predicted, Dominic tightened Chase's security and it became impossible for me to see him as his lawyer made a statement in the court that I was trying to influence the proceeding of the case so Chase might demand for a joint custody between his parents if his opinion would be asked.
