I smiled as I rolled to the other side of the bed with my hand searching for Lauren with my eyes still closed.

When I could not feel anybody beside me, I opened my eyes and Lauren was not there on the bed beside me.

I did have the thought that maybe she was in the kitchen preparing a surprise breakfast like she sometimes does. But just as I was about to leave the room, my eyes caught with the sticky note on the bedstand table that the bedstand lamp was.

I picked it up and it was Lauren's handwriting.

"Good morning hubby. By the time you are reading this, I would have already been on my way to South Korea to meet my twin sister. I did not want to wake you up from your sleep. You already made the preparations before hand so thanks to you, it would not be difficult for me.

Don't worry about me, I can take care of myself. Remember you promised to give me a week's off when I'm ready to visit my sister, I'm ready to use it now.
